NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe was sat courtside for Game 4 between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.

Sharpe, who is a big LeBron James fan, was cheering on the Lakers and when LeBron hit a clutch shot over Dillon Brooks in overtime, he had a priceless reaction.

This basket from James put the Lakers up 113-108 with less than 30 seconds remaining and it all but sealed the win for them. The fact that it came over Brooks who had taken shots at LeBron after Game 2, would have made that moment just that much sweeter for Sharpe. He remained hyped the rest of the way, as he celebrated the Lakers being in the ascendancy.

They would go on to win 117-111 and have now taken a 3-1 lead in this first-round series. LeBron finished the night with 22 points, 20 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 blocks and was greeted with goat noises by his teammates in the locker room. Sharpe would have certainly joined in if he was there, as he firmly believes LeBron is the GOAT.

Shannon Sharpe’s Second Appearance At A Lakers-Grizzlies Game Went A Lot Better Than His First

This isn’t the first time, of course, that Sharpe has been at a Lakers-Grizzlies game. He was courtside when the teams met in January earlier this year and things got really ugly back then. He got into a heated exchange with Ja Morant, his father Tee Morant, and other Grizzlies players as well.

Sharpe ended up apologizing for his behavior, and the whole incident left a sour taste in everyone’s mouth. Thankfully, nothing of that sort happened here and we could just celebrate the game that we got to witness. Sharpe would have gone home in a celebratory mood too, as the Lakers are now on the cusp of reaching the Western Conference Semifinals.
