With LeBron James recently breaking the all-time scoring record, the conversations about who the GOAT is and other things of that nature have been heating up again. NBA fans love nothing more than a good debate, and more have been popping up in recent weeks.

Shaquille O’Neal has his finger on the pulse of social media, he often poses questions to fans that get the conversation going. The big man has been known to share lists of the greatest players of all time made by different people to see what those in his comments think of them. And he recently posed another exciting dilemma.

Basketball is a 5-on-5 game at the highest level, and that’s what it comes down to in the NBA. But fans discuss the most excellent one-on-one matchups, as well as two-on-two and pitting trios of legends against one another. And Shaq recently shared a graphic asking about who would win in a 3-on-3 on Instagram.

Michael Jordan is the GOAT to most NBA fans still, and LeBron James is the No. 2 for just as many, so both of them being on the same team would make it a no-brainer. But at the same time, Kobe Bryant is the closest thing to Michael Jordan and Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are the greatest ever at what they do. So it’s tough to call, with even O’Neal acknowledging that he couldn’t decide. Fans as usual had their opinions though.

Fans Chose Who Would Win If It Was Michael Jordan, LeBron James, And Kyrie Irving vs. Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, And Stephen Curry

There’s no right answer to these questions, but fans certainly had quite a few opinions on the question. And the debate seems to be a mixed bag, but many fans did lean toward Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

“Team Jordan, no doubt.”

“Any team with Jordan and Lebron ain’t losing.”

“I said it once and I will say it again never bet against MJ.”

“Team Bean in today’s era.”

“Kobe, Steph, and KD? Those cats would never get the ball off of them.”

“Y’all really underestimating Kobe.”

“When will Steph get the respect he deserves, he got as many rings as Bron.”

“Pairing MJ and Lebron in any team would be unfair for everyone else.”

“Team A got the two greatest ever, no contest.”

“This question is dumb, MJ and Bron always.”

“I can’t pick on this one man, I love all these guys.”

In terms of skillset, both teams have their advantages, especially considering the shooting prowess of Team B and the all-around games of Team A. Fans will have their opinions on the question, but ultimately no one can say for sure what is the right answer and what is the wrong one.
