Stephen Curry keeps playing great basketball this season, leaving everybody in awe with his performances that have kept the Golden State Warriors alive and competing for a spot in the playoffs this campaign. The point guard is doing a terrific job in the absence of Klay Thompson and whenever he steps on the court, fans know they’re going to see fireworks.
On Saturday night, the Warriors took on the Dallas Mavericks in which became a personal duel between Curry and Dallas wonderboy Luka Doncic. Steph went off with 57 points while Luka tied his career-high 42 points. The Dubs couldn’t get the win but Curry received a lot of praise, including from his own head coach and even the rival one. After the game was over, Steve Kerr threw some flowers at Curry, suggesting that Steph had reached a new level in his game.
“He’s never played better…He looks so strong to me. He looks stronger to me, getting by people, fending them off on drives, finishing. Then the shot-making is almost unfathomable,” Kerr said of Stephen Curry, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Moreover, Dallas Mavericks’ Rick Carlisle also had something to say about Curry, wondering if there was somebody harder to beat than the Warriors’ superstar, who put up a fight against his Mavs but it wasn’t enough to beat Luka and co.
“I don’t know if there’s a harder guy to play in basketball right now than Stephen Curry because of all the different ways he affects the game and just his uncanny ability to make shots from anywhere on the floor,” Carlisle explained.

Curry has been on a tear recently, breaking records, reaching new milestones and more. He knows the challenge is bigger this season and is making sure he’s doing everything he can to lead his squad to the promised land. The Warriors weren’t expected to compete this season without Klay Thompson but Stephen Curry has different plans for them.
