The Boston Celtics Are Better Than The Milwaukee Bucks, Says Kendrick Perkins

2 Min Read

The Boston Celtics have a lot going for them this season. Jayson Tatum looks like a superstar already, after his ridiculous jumper over Giannis Antetokounmpo during the Celtics-Bucks game on Wednesday. While it is an encouraging sign for the Celtics, it may not last for the whole season. Despite that, there have already been instances of people praising the Boston Celtics for their win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

One of those people was Kendrick Perkins, himself formerly a Celtics player. Kendrick Perkins praised the young duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown and said the hot take most fans in Boston wanted to hear.

While this may be a biased take, Perkins is correct in assessing that the Celtics wing duo are lethal. Kendrick Perkins also covers the valuable additions of veterans Jeff Teague and Tristan Thompson, while praising Marcus Smart. Jeff Teague would be a solid point guard in the rotation and is an experienced playoff player who has played against superstars like LeBron James. Thompson is a solid center who has won a championship with the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers. They should provide a stable veteran presence on the court to the young Celtics while Kemba Walker recovers.

While it may be premature to declare the Boston Celtics as better than the Milwaukee Bucks, they certainly looked very promising. With bigger offensive roles for Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, the Boston Celtics could find their way back into the Finals.
