The Brooklyn Nets are reportedly on the verge of pulling off one of the biggest blockbuster trades in NBA history, as they’re looking to pair James Harden with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant ahead of next season.
While that could sound great on paper, we’re talking about three of the players with the highest usage rate in the league. More than that, all three players need the ball on their hands and a lot of touches to get going and make an impact, so that raises some concerns.
That’s why a Twitter user posted a hilarious viral clip of how the Nets’ offense would look next season if they landed James Harden:

The video features Kevin Durant dribbling at the top of the key for 10 seconds, then James Harden dribbling for 8 seconds in the paint, and then Kyrie Irving dribbling the ball for the remaining 6 seconds just to take a contested three-pointer.
While it may seem like a joke, a lot of people actually believes that the Nets’ offense would be as stagnant as that if the game has to come down to the wire. All three players have huge egos and won’t want to give up the final shot of the game.
Moreover, Kyrie Irving and James Harden thrive in isolation. They have a reputation for being ball-stoppers because of their dribbles and crafty moves.
No one can deny that Durant, Irving, and Harden are three of the most talented players in NBA history and that the Nets could have a team that looked like it came out of NBA 2K. But given their history and the way they play the game, this promising team could also end up in a massive disaster for the Brooklyn Nets.
