- Trae Young received a major shoutout on Instagram from Vanessa Bryant

- Vanessa Bryant has been working tirelessly to uphold Kobe Bryant’s legacy
Vanessa Bryant shared a heartfelt thank you to Trae Young on Instagram for the Atlanta Hawks guard’s support of the Mambacita Sports Foundation.
Young was one of the big names in attendance to support the foundation. Dressed in a white sweatshirt and shorts, the 24-year-old was seen smiling, and his support meant the world for the foundation.

For those unaware, The Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation was founded after the tragic death of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna ‘Gigi’ Bryant and is a non-profit organization that aims to create a lasting and positive impact for underserved athletes in sports.
Part of the foundation’s work was creating new basketball courts in different communities, and in attendance was Young and Los Angeles Sparks legend Lisa Leslie when a new court was unveiled in LA.
That Vanessa has been actively involved in upholding Bryant’s legacy hasn’t gone unnoticed. Earlier, former Laker Robert Horry praised her for her work with the Mambacita Sports Foundation.
On his podcast, ‘Big Shot Bob’, Horry and his co-hosts took a moment to recognize Vanessa’s accomplishments and the Mamba Invitational League, held on August 24. “She’s doing a hell of a job,” Horry said.
Vanessa Bryant Continues To Honor Kobe Bryant To Date In Her Own Classy, Yet Heartwarming Way
Earlier this year, Vanessa Bryant honored the Black Mamba and her daughter Gianna during pop icon Taylor Swift’s first ‘Era’s’ tour in Los Angeles.
She shared images on her Instagram story featuring a denim jacket that featured a snap of Swift and the Late Lakers star with ‘Swiftie’ written on it.
The jacket also had a patch that said, “Say you’ll remember me” — a lyric from Swift’s 2014 hit, ‘Wildest Dreams’.
It’s indeed heartwarming to see Vanessa carry on the legacy of the superstar well after his tragic death in a helicopter crash in 2020. There is no doubt that if he were here today, the duo together would have done more with the plans they would have had in store. But massive respect for Vanessa for the tireless work she’s been doing.
