Ja Morant is present courtside for the first time in over two weeks as the star has returned from his suspension and is allowed to be present at Grizzlies games again.

Even though he isn’t playing against the Dallas Mavericks tonight, Morant is trying to motivate his teammates from the bench. He can be seen dancing with them and supporting them in this tough clash.

The Grizzlies ended up pulling off a 16-point comeback in the fourth quarter and winning the game, continuing their strong form since Morant was injured. He’s expected to return against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.

Ja Morant Looking To Compete For A Championship This Season?

Many people expected Morant to be away from the Grizzlies for longer, with some even reporting that he may end up missing the rest of the season. The reality of the situation is that the Grizzlies are just as well positioned to make a splash in a very tight Western Conference and make it to the NBA Finals. They can’t do that if Morant isn’t on the court.

Ja has averaged 27.1 points, 8.2 assists, and 6.0 rebounds this season and was an NBA All-Star. He may not be nominated to an all-NBA team to great personal financial harm, but a championship run would likely make that feel immaterial. Morant’s explosive guard play, playmaking ability, and finishing ability make him an extremely dangerous prospect for the playoffs.

The Grizzlies have arguably one of the best team-wide rotations in the NBA. They will be hoping that their strength in numbers holds up in the postseason as it has been very hard to figure out which teams are threats in the Western Conference.
