“The Warriors Won’t Make The Playoffs. Steph Needs Some Help,” Says Chris Broussard

On paper, the Golden State Warriors have a roster that should be able to remain competitive — even in the ultra-tough Western Conference. But in last night’s season opener, the Dubs looked hopelessly lost out there, with Curry standing out as their only positive in an ugly blowout loss.

While there remains plenty of time to turn things around, some haven’t been as quick to buy into the idea that Tuesday’s blowout was a fluke.

In fact, according to FOX Sports analyst Chris Broussard, the Warriors would be lucky to even make the playoffs as presently constructed.

“The Warriors won’t make the playoffs. Steph needs some help.”

Steph will do his thing, but it won’t save the Warriors from another forgettable season! https://t.co/uPDxzFPNs4

Heading into the season, there was an abundance of optimism that the Warriors would re-claim their place as a major title contender. Klay Thompson and Steph Curry were set to return to a roster with Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and promising young rookie James Wiseman.

Unfortunately, Klay’s season-ending Achilles injury really hurt their chances to succeed. Without his shooting and defense, the Warriors (at least for now) don’t appear to be nearly as dangerous.

It’s understandable hoe some have lost faith, but we’ll see soon enough if Steph and the Warriors are able to prove all the doubters wrong.
