High School Player Gets Smoked After Challenging NBA Legend Brian Scalabrine To A 1-On-1

The NBA is, all kidding aside, the world’s best and most elite basketball league in the world. And while it’s easy to take for granted what the players do on the court night in and night out, their talent is near other-wordly.

For one High School baller somewhere in the States, they found that out the hard way.

In a Tik-Tok that has gone viral online, a teenager challenges NBA legend Brian Scalabrine (AKA The White Mamba) to a 1v1, even putting his shoes on the line, only to get completely wiped out. Here’s the footage:

For reference, Scal averaged 3 points per game in the NBA, and celebrated his 43rd birthday earlier this month. If a guy that old, who only averaged 13 minutes a game for his career, can beat a seemingly talented young player so easily, one can only imagine how good active players are.

Once again, the huge gap between NBA-level talent and everyone else remains as wide as a 7-lane highway. Seriously, never challenge an NBA baller (current or former) to a game — that’s a battle you just won’t win.
