50 Cent’s ‘Sire Spirits’ To Become Official Champagne Partner Of The Sacramento Kings

3 Min Read

The NBA has always been extremely popular in the world of hip-hop. We have seen plenty of players experiment with their own music careers, while we have also seen musicians try their hand at basketball.

However, we are getting to the time when musicians are entering into proper business ventures in the game of basketball. In the past, we have seen musicians like Jay-Z purchase a stake in an NBA team and today; we have seen Kanye West sign NBA players like Jaylen Brown to his sports agency.

Another iconic rapper that is getting into the business of basketball is 50 Cent, who has entered a partnership with the Sacramento Kings to have his wine and spirits company, ‘Sire Spirits’ become the official premium champagne partner of the Kings. 50 Cent’s ‘G-Unity Foundation’ will also team up with the Sacramento Kings Foundation to invest in Sacramento’s youth throughout the season, including providing scholarships as part of the team’s mentorship efforts.

“We are thrilled to partner with Curtis and bring Sire Spirits to Golden 1 Center for our fans and guests to enjoy,” said Sacramento Kings Owner and Chairman Vivek Ranadivé. “This partnership continues the Kings commitment to supporting diverse entrepreneurs and aligns our shared passion for providing youth with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. I am excited to work together to support the Sacramento community.”

“I did this deal after meeting with Vivek Ranadivé and learning how he and the entire Kings organization genuinely shares my philosophy of promoting conscious capitalism,” said Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. “I very much look forward to meeting the Kings fans and expanding the reach of my G-Unity Foundation and spirits brands in and around the city of Sacramento.” (h/t NBA

This could be a very successful initiative for the Kings as well as for 50 Cent. The Kings are hoping to field a team capable of making the playoffs this season, so hopefully, more 50 Cent champagne bottles can be opened in Sacramento to celebrate on-court success.
