Draymond Green Reveals His Kids Roast Him When He And The Warriors Lose: “They Kind Of Get On My A** If We Lose.”

3 Min Read

Draymond Green has been a crucial part of the Golden State Warriors’ success this season. The Warriors have been the best team in the NBA this season, boasting an impressive 15-2 record so far, and are looking like championship contenders for the first time since 2019.

While the offensive players like Steph Curry, Jordan Poole, and Andrew Wiggins have garnered more of the headlines, Draymond’s signature defense has been significant for the Warriors, as they have gone on this spectacular run to start the season so far. Green has said that he wants to be Defensive Player Of The Year again this season.

The Warriors have the best offense in the league, and so far are the only team to score 100+ points in every game this season. But on top of that, they also have the best defense in the NBA, limiting opponents to just 101.1 points per game through the course of the season.

But Draymond does have his detractors. The harshest of them, are actually his children. Green recently revealed that now his kids are a little bit older, they are able to comprehend the nature of the game. And if the Warriors are ever to lose a game, he gets roasted by his children.

“My son is getting older, my oldest daughter – she’s 7 now – they kind of get on my a** if we lose.”

Luckily for Draymond, the Warriors haven’t been doing a lot of losing. So he has been able to avoid getting made fun of by his kids. And at the rate at which they’re playing, he won’t be getting roasted by his children all that much this season. But surely his kids are the only critics that Draymond will be taking seriously.

There is no doubt that Green is the biggest part of the Warriors’ defensive prowess. Warriors head Steve Kerr even called Draymond the best defender in the world. And the way the Warriors are playing defensively while led by Draymond, few can argue that claim from Kerr.
