Stephen Curry and LeBron James have starred in one of the best rivalries the NBA has seen in recent years. These two have shared the court more than once, having intense battles, mainly in the Finals.

Even though they’ve been spotted going at it, trash-talking each other, they have a very good relationship off the court, and neither hesitates to praise the other whenever they have the chance.

Before the Golden State Warriors took on the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night, Steph talked about Bron, praising the Lakers superstar for his longevity and how he takes care of his body every single season. That’s the reason why LeBron remains one of the best players in the world at age 36, entering his 19th season.

“He set the standard for that,” Curry said to ESPN’s Nick Friedell before Friday night game. “Let’s keep it real – what is he, in his 18th year? Nine straight Finals, all the things that he’s accomplished.

“You have a vision of sustaining your prime for as long as you can, kind of reimagining what that looks like. So, you know the work that goes into it, the intentionality, especially in the offseasons, especially how you take care of your body, your mind. Balance on court, off court,” the Warriors’ superstar concluded.

As Curry said, LeBron has set the standard for this. He’s advised his teammates on how to take care of their bodies to extend their careers. Bron is still dominant after 18 years, and he’s not planning on slowing down right now.

Steph will try to stop him next season, as his Warriors will try to return to the top of the league after two complex years. Several people expect Curry and LeBron to clash in the 2022 playoff in a duel that would draw a lot of attention.
