Kevin Durant may just go down as one of the most unique players in NBA history. At nearly 7’0 tall, most would expect Durant to play like a traditional big man and score from near the basket and swat away shots.
Far from it, KD is an elite scorer and can shoot the ball from anywhere on the court. Durant’s incredible size, wingspan, and pinpoint accuracy make him one of the most dangerous offensive players in NBA history.
And add to that Durant’s ability to make clutch shots, and he becomes a true all-time great. KD has shown time and time again how he has an unbelievable knack for making big shots in the big moments.
Many a player have been tasked with the responsibility of guarding Kevin Durant. And more often than not, they aren’t able to contain the ‘Slim Reaper’. Durant can do it all on the offensive end of the court, which is why trying to stop him is so incredibly difficult.
Durant has been a challenge almost no one in the league has been able to figure out. And the way he has been playing most recently, few will be able to do so as time goes on.
One person who tried to stop KD was Jamal Crawford. The former NBA star, who last played for the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA bubble as a replacement player, spoke about his experience playing against Durant, saying that their games would be more competitive if he and Durant were the same size.
Jamal Crawford on 1 on 1 games with @KDTrey5 last summer:
“It was a seven games series and when he shot over me it wasn’t like he couldn’t see with his wingspan. If I could grew to his height or he shrunk to 6’5 we would have similar games.”#BrooklynTogether #NBA #NBATwitter pic.twitter.com/d9VUM81lVY

Crawford also spoke about a bunch of different topics, including Derrick Rose, the Brooklyn Nets being favorites to win the NBA title, and his ambitions as a coach in the NBA.
Durant will be looking to use his incredible offensive arsenal to help the Brooklyn Nets win the NBA championship next season, after falling short to the Milwaukee Bucks last season.
