Andre Drummond became the hero of the day after a home video surfaced showing him saving his 2-year-old son from drowning. The Philadelphia 76ers big man is trying to spend some quality time at home this offseason, but he lived some intense moments when his son fell into a pool.
The video shows the kid, Deon, tripping into the water. Drummond instantly came to the rescue, while it took more time for people closer to the kid to react. He quickly jumped into the pool and took the kid, finishing a quick but very tense sequence.
Drummond took to Twitter to talk about the video, expressing his relief with the outcome and clarifying nobody was hurt in the video.

This must have been really scary for the player and the child. Falling into a pool at such a young age must be traumatic. Fortunately, Andre was there to become a hero and keep his son safe.
After a tumultuous couple of months with the Los Angeles Lakers, the big man signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. He’s set to prove his value in the league after receiving a lot of criticism in recent times.
Drummond is on a mission, and he hopes to help the Sixers reach the next level, although not everybody is convinced he can be impactful.
