Kendrick Perkins has never been a fan-favorite, but the former NBA player-turned-analyst doesn’t do anything to change his image with the NBA community. Perk has gotten used to giving hot takes and fans calling him out for missing things big time.
Recently, he was caught dissing legendary coach Gregg Popovich on Twitter, saying it was good that they wouldn’t have to deal with Coach Pop after the Tokyo Olympics. Of course, this was disrespectful and entirely out of place, but Perkins looked very confident when he decided to hit that ‘send’ button.

Of course, fans didn’t like this, and they went off on Perk, showing love to Pop and calling the analyst out for making such a blasphemous take.

Perkins has been roasting Team USA for about a month now. Fortunately, they had the last laugh, and Kevin Durant and Draymond Green let KP have it on Instagram.
Team USA needs to check themselves on the defensive end, have some pride and humility… and that includes coach Popovich — the arrogance he showed in that press conference is how they looked on D!
We lean on Kyrie about how he handles the media, well same damn thing for Pop… pic.twitter.com/a7WRH42lGC

The Golden State Warriors star took a big shot at the former Boston Celtic, asking him to act like he’s American, engaging in a Twitter battle.
Even though Team USA won the gold medal, Perkins didn’t feel like a winner. He took to massive L’s on Friday night while the squad lived an unforgettable moment in Tokyo.
