Draymond Green Takes Shot At Kendrick Perkins, And He Immediately Fires Back

2 Min Read

Draymond Green has no love for Kendrick Perkins after the latter criticized Team USA prior to the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. A couple of weeks ago, the national team lost two consecutive preparation games against Nigeria and Australia. This situation set the alarms for the squad, who traveled to Tokyo surrounded by doubts.

After winning the gold medal, Kevin Durant and Green called out the doubters with various comments demonstrating they are still the team to beat in international basketball. When addressing the criticism, Green pointed directly at Perkins, asking the 2008 NBA champion to ‘act like he’s American.’

“Kendrick Perkins, you talk a lot of s—. A lot of s—,” Green said. “Act like you’re American.”

KP caught wind of these comments and replied to Draymond on Twitter. The big man said he will keep doing whatever he likes and nobody would tell him what to say or not.

This wasn’t the end for Draymond, though, as he wanted to see the receipts to make fun of the people that didn’t believe in this team.

Freezing Cold Takes helped the 3x NBA champion, sharing a screenshot of Perkins criticizing Gregg Popovich and saying it’s good that the legendary coach will be out of the team after this tournament.

Perk keeps getting proved wrong, yet he insists on making these ‘hot’ takes that are always refused. He messed with the wrong ones in KD and Green, who didn’t miss their chances to call everybody out after beating France 87-82 in the gold-medal game.
