The GOAT debate is always a topic of discussion among NBA fans. There are a lot of different opinions on who the greatest player ever is, and the answer is usually influenced by what exactly a given person’s criteria is for a player to deserve that title.

The most recent player to weigh in on that debate was Kyle Kuzma. Kyle Kuzma recently Tweeted about a graphic that featured Kobe Bryant’s scoring exploits, and claimed that Kobe Bryant was the “Greatest ever, no question”. Kobe Bryant is often one of the people that people consider the GOAT, and he is known for winning 5 championships with the Los Angeles Lakers.

While it makes sense that a former Laker would call Kobe Bryant the GOAT, Kyle Kuzma’s opinion in the GOAT debate seems to have changed now that he’s left the Los Angeles Lakers as part of the Russell Westbrook trade. There have been previous instances of Kyle Kuzma praising LeBron James and calling him the GOAT, but it seems as though that is no longer the case. LeBron James has a great GOAT case of his own, winning 4 championships with 3 separate franchises.

On top of this tweet, Kyle Kuzma has previously selected LeBron James over Kobe Bryant as the greatest player of our generation during an appearance on the Hoops on Fox podcast, where he was asked to pick the winner of the 2018 NBA Finals.

“Um… Golden State. It’s tough. It’ll be interesting. I want to see how they do against Houston. I think Houston’s had a phenomenal season. Bron is Bron. I’m never going to count him out, because he’s the greatest player of this generation. No question. … It’s hard to go against Kobe but, I mean, he’s been to the Finals seven straight times.”

It is obvious that both LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are great players, and that Kyle Kuzma probably appreciates both of them. Kobe Bryant was notably Kuzma’s mentor, while he also got to experience a championship with LeBron James. LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are both worthy of the GOAT title, though there will likely always be a debate about which of the two is the better player and GOAT candidate.

Mitch Lawrence of SiriusXM NBA Radio has recently reported that the 76ers have been sho
