NBA Fans Call Out LeBron James After He Brings His Own Bottle Of Tequila To The Arena

Even when he’s not playing, LeBron James finds ways to be in everybody’s mouths. This weekend, specifically, he was the talk of the town on social media. After the premiere of Space Jam: A New Legacy, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar attended Game 5 of the 2021 NBA Finals.

He supported his long-time friend Chris Paul, but people still found a way to make this all about LeBron. The King managed to get a bottle of his Lobos 1707 tequila, “hiding” it under his court-side seat.

After pictures of the bottle surfaced, NBA fans weren’t happy, calling out the player for bringing his own booze to the arena, knowing that’s not allowed.

Setting such a good example….

Ridiculous double standard. Anyone else would be arrested for bringing their own liquor/ glass bottle in. And nice wide stance to infringe upon that ladies personal space next to him. Always all class, Bron… 🙄🙄

With that said, they’re objectively overpriced. Good thinking, LeBron!

Jordan would never be sitting in the stands at a finals game, cheering for the team that eliminated him earlier. You don’t have that killer instinct

I remember when Jordan went to the finals to sit court side…

Lebron drank half of the bottle. That's why the sun glasses were on. Lol.

No one is allowed to have a glass bottle nowhere in the Arena, let along on the court. So LeBron sneak it in the Arena and out to the court.

Right, like this dude thinks King is sneaking in candy at a movie theater..😂😂

Like they was gonna stop the king 🙌😂 pic.twitter.com/WgBRMONZON

I’m bringing my own next time I go to the arena, let’s see if I can😂

— King David (@CranberryJonez) July 18, 2021

Bron even created a special day, “BYOT,” to explain why he arrived at the game with his own liquor.

They let me??? Ok we’ll go with that! “BYOT” Bring Your Own Tequila! 😁😎🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺 @Lobos1707 https://t.co/HbfenvIK8O

Unfortunately for James and Chris Paul, the Phoenix Suns couldn’t take advantage of being at home, losing Game 5 of the series against the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday, and Khris Middleton showed up for the Bucks, taking a commanding 3-2 lead.

Game 6 is scheduled for Tuesday. It’s unclear if LeBron will be in attendance again or if the Bucks will let him do the same at the Fiserv Forum. Let’s not forget that team owner Wes Edens is a co-founder of Cincoro tequila alongside Michael Jordan, Jeanie Buss, and more.

Perhaps there will be a conflict of interests for Bron and the Bucks, but it’s too soon to predict what will happen next.
