NBA Fan Predicted The 2021 Finals In 2016: “Game 7 Bucks Win 123-115”

We’re set to watch a new edition of the NBA Finals with two talented teams ready to go at it to lift the Larry O’Brien trophy this season. The Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns had to fight hard to reach this point, and it’s time to see which squad will get that ring.

Although we had to see them going through fire to make it to the big series, one fan already knew this would happen. Five years ago, somebody dared to predict the 2021 NBA Finals participant and even the winners.

“2021 NBA finals Bucks vs. Suns game 7 Bucks win 123-115,” Twitter user @Plahm1 wrote.

After the Bucks clinched a spot in the Finals following a 118-107 win over the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference finals, the tweet went viral. Some fans asked if their favorite players would win a ring before they retire, while others were speechless seeing the accuracy of the tweet.

Every season we find somebody who predicted the NBA Finals a couple of years before. The reactions are always the same. Of course, this is incredible if we recall how the league was like during 2016; the Golden State Warriors’ superteam played its first season together; the Suns finished the season with a 24-58 record, one of the worst in the league.

The Bucks finished that campaign with a 42-40 record, but nobody expected them to become a powerhouse the way they did this year. Sure, Giannis was already showing his talents, yet, no one was talking about him as one of the best players in the association.

We’re yet to see if the Bucks winning Game 7 with this score turns out to be true, but this prediction is already incredible.
