The Gasol brothers couldn’t reunite in Los Angeles this year, but the Spanish national team will give them the chance to share touches one last time. Pau and Marc have been successful in the NBA and the international stage. The upcoming Summer Olympics will give them the perfect closure to their journeys.

Pau, 40, is very likely to retire after the tournament. At the same time, Marc will try to regain a spot on the Los Angeles Lakers starting lineup. The brothers were called for the Summer Olympic tournament in Tokyo, alongside other big names like Ricky Rubio, Victor Claver, Rudy Fernandez, and more.

They have shared good moments with the national team, and it’s time to go for one last ride. Spain is the defending FIBA World Cup champions after winning the tournament they hosted two years ago.

Now it’s time to prove themselves against the best national squads in the world, including Team USA, which features big names like Kevin Durant, James Harden, Damian Lillard, Chris Paul and Devin Booker, among others.

This will be the last dance for the Gasol brothers, and even though they aren’t in their prime, the national team will always benefit from their talents.
