“Damn KD” Trends On Social Media After Kevin Durant Misses Potential Game Winner

Bleacher Report

The Milwaukee Bucks were able to narrowly avoid an 0-3 deficit on Thursday night, beating Brooklyn by three points to take Game 3 on their home floor.

Despite the Brooklyn loss, however, the NBA community couldn’t stop talking about Kevin Durant, who would have stolen the game by himself down the stretch had he not missed his potential game-winner.

All things considered, Durant had a fantastic game. He dropped 30 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. Of course, he also shot an abysmal 39% from the field, with one of his misses being a shot that could have changed the outcome of the entire game.

Either way, with the Bucks heading into Game 4 with a chance to tie the series at 2, they have all the momentum. If Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton can continue their dominant performance (they combined to score 68 points), they could easily turn this thing around.

No matter what, though, Kevin Durant will not go quietly. He’s a 2x Finals MVP for a reason, and while he couldn’t deliver the victory on Thursday, don’t count him out in Game 4 or for any moment going forward.

He plays his best when the critics and doubters are loudest.
