Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis have lost two years in a row to the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round. This season, we saw Luka Doncic take on a herculean offensive effort to try and lift the Dallas Mavericks over the Los Angeles Clippers, but the Mavericks simply did not have enough offensive firepower to get the job done.

Kristaps Porzingis has underwhelmed most people in the first round, putting up 13.1 PPG and 5.4 RPG over the course of the series, a far cry from his regular-season numbers. While the blame may be attributed to him as the co-star to Luka Doncic, losing or winning is an overall team effort.

When asked about his fit with Kristaps Porzingis and moving forward, Luka Doncic gave praise to the Latvian big man and called him a “great player” while also adding that he doesn’t know about what will happen this offseason.

While there has been a lot of hate towards Porzingis due to the results in the playoffs, Porzingis is still a capable NBA player, which many teams would like to have on their roster. Kristaps Porzingis underperformed this season, but perhaps next season will go his way.
