New York Knicks Fan Banned From Madison Square Garden After Spitting On Trae Young

The New York Knicks have announced they banned the fan who spit on Trae Young during Wednesday night game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Young has made some enemies in New York, but one would think the fans would stick to just chanting against him and wouldn’t try to get things physical. Well, somebody didn’t get that memo and they starred in a very controversial moment.

While Young was getting ready to inbound the ball, somebody spits on him. So little they knew that cameras caught that moment, and the Knicks started an investigation on the incident.

Less than 24 hours later, the team announced they have banned this person from the Madison Square Garden.

“We investigated the matter and determined that this patron, who is not a season ticket holder, did indeed spit on Trae Young, and for that reason, he is now banned from The Garden indefinitely. We apologize to Trae and the entire Atlanta Hawks organization for this fan’s behavior. This was completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated in our venue. We have turned the information over to the appropriate authorities.”

Trae seems to be happy being the new villain for the Knicks. After the New Yorkers tied the series against the Hawks, he sent a message to the home team, saying things would be different in Atlanta.

This series is getting more intense game after game. Sadly, some fans don’t know that this is a game and you can do a lot for your team without pouring popcorn or spitting on rivals.
