Devin Booker Roasts Rudy Gobert On Instagram After Nasty Crossover

Devin Booker, just like the Phoenix Suns, is having a very sweet moment in the NBA right now. The shooting guard has confirmed he’s one of the best scorers and one of the future faces of the league this season, leading his team to the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.

Chris Paul has had something to do with that, too, but Booker often takes the spotlight and with due reason. This player isn’t afraid of any challenge and he showed that on Friday night when he went against the always dangerous Utah Jazz. He won the game, dominated the Jazz and broke Rudy Gobert’s ankles with a huge crossover.

Book took to Instagram to troll Gobert for that play, showing his confidence in his level, attacking another DPOY candidate, just like he did with Ben Simmons a couple of months ago.

book story

During the Jazz-Suns game, as the 3rd quarter was finishing, Booker went at it against Gobert, taking him to the baseline before making a crossover that nobody saw coming. He dropped Gobert before taking his shot and made it.

That was a spectacular play and Booker really enjoyed that. It was so great that he just had to brag about it on social media, trolling Rudy and making fans laugh with his post.

It’s unclear if the emoji he used has something to do with Gobert and the fact that he was the first NBA player to test positive for COVID-19 last year.

Anyways, he destroyed Rudy with that play, gave the W to his team and made the Suns the best team in the NBA right now.
