LeBron James is currently in the depths of a Twitter scandal, that has him the subject of scrutiny and criticism from all over the country.

Following the police shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant, he posted a Tweet calling for accountability of the officer involved. Unfortunately for LeBron, many don’t agree with his take, citing that the officer, who was witnessing a potential stabbing, was merely doing his job.

Needless to say, people have started accusing LeBron of speaking before having all the facts, to which James had to come to his own defense.

Amid a firestorm of criticism, former President Donald Trump was the latest to shoot a shot, issuing the following statement on Twitter:

Trump and Bron have had a number of spats in the past, with both parties criticizing the other.

Here, however, Trump is especially cruel, calling LeBron’s words “racist, nasty, and divisive.”

LeBron has yet to respond to Trump’s words, or that of other big-name critics, but it doesn’t seem as though he’s going to backpedal on his stance.

In the end, it will be interesting to see how all of this ends, and if LeBron will respond to any of the noise.
