Damian Lillard was shocked when he learned that NCAA rules are kind of… Different. The Portland Trail Blazers superstar, just like the rest of the NBA community, couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw a pic of an NCAA play that wasn’t ruled a foul in the UConn vs. Baylor game.
Bleacher Report shared the pic of the play, where two players were touching the hands of their rival and the refs didn’t blow the whistle. The photo came to Dame’s attention and the player was really surprised to see the outcome of the play.

The refs were allowing extremely physical play and were barely calling anything. That “no call” fit the pattern of the game. The “no calls” were in the double digits tonight.

Basketball fans tried to explain what really happened during the game, claiming that the team officials weren’t giving anything to anyone and the ladies were playing an incredibly physical game. That makes sense when you see the pic and what came after that: nothing.
