NBA Rumors: Phoenix Suns Could Target LaMarcus Aldridge Post-Buyout

LaMarcus Aldridge is currently one of the big names in trade rumors ahead of the NBA trade deadline. Aldridge is a very capable big man who has some shot creation, coupled with floor spacing and solid defense. Aldridge is the sort of player who teams want due to his experience and skill-set: he can fit on any team in the league, whether in a large or limited role.

LaMarcus Aldridge has been linked with many teams ahead of the trade deadline to what seems like every contender. Recently, it has been revealed that the Phoenix Suns plan to chase LaMarcus Aldridge after he gets bought out, although there are other contenders ahead of them in the chase for Aldridge.

Also told that Phoenix is in the post-buyout picture for Aldridge, although Miami and Brooklyn seem to be ahead of the Suns in the pecking order. https://t.co/xmTirJr8kd

While the Miami Heat and the Brooklyn Nets would offer great opportunities for Aldridge, it does seem like the Phoenix Suns could make an intriguing destination. Aldridge would join Chris Paul in mentoring a great young core, and adding Aldridge to the 2nd seed in the Western Conference sounds like a winning proposition. LaMarcus Aldridge could easily fit in as the starting PF, and provide interior defense, and scoring when need be.

Adding LaMarcus Aldridge to the Phoenix Suns would give them a better chance at a championship this season. While there may be others ahead in the chase for Aldridge, the Suns could potentially be in the picture as well.
