Paul Pierce Tried To Explain Joel Embiid’s Importance And MVP Case Before Realizing The Sixers Won By 35 Without Him

Paul Pierce is definitely a character. Love him or hate him, you can’t deny he’s entertaining to watch, even if you want to troll him after he expressed his opinion on ESPN. The Boston Celtics icon was criticized during his active days and that hasn’t changed now that he’s an analyst.

He has become a living meme and even when he’s not trying to be funny, he makes people laugh. His reactions have gotten a lot of attention from NBA fans recently, including the time Nate Robinson was KO’d by Jake Paul during a boxing match. Now, he had a similar reaction when he found out the Philadelphia 76ers had won a big game without Joel Embiid.

JoJo went down with a knee injury last week and people started worrying about the Sixers without their biggest figure. That wasn’t a problem on Sunday night as they trashed the San Antonio Spurs, 134-99, but the Truth was convinced they had lost by 35 points. Trying to explain Embiid’s importance for this team and why he should win the 2021 MVP award, he missed the part that said the team had won and his reaction was epic.

Of course, the Sixers will always prefer having Embiid with them but they’re doing good things without the Cameroonian big man on the floor. They have played three games since the All-Star break and all three have big wins, with two of them being played without JoJo.

The competition is getting harder and the Sixers will be without their maximum star for two or three weeks. They can win more games while the big man returns to action and seeing how well they played yesterday, the picture looks promising for them. Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris will take the reins of the team now and try to keep them as the leader of the Eastern Conference.
