Kawhi Leonard isn’t happy with what he’s seeing from his team right now and sent a big message after the Clippers lost 135-115 to the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. The Angelenos team suffered the fourth defeat in the last five games, setting the alarms in the locker room.
Leonard talked about this situation following the game, stating that they need to be better than this and find some consistency if they want to have a shot at the NBA title. The Klaw said it’s very concerning that the team can’t find a good pace and they need to change that unless they want to live the same they lived in the infamous Orlando bubble.
“It’s very concerning. If we want to have a chance at anything, we got to be consistent. That’s what the great teams do, they’re consistent.”

The Clips are without Pat Beverley right now and Kawhi urged everybody to bring the energy they need to win games, although one of their leaders isn’t on the court right now.
“We all got to (bring the passion and energy). Everybody just needs to play hard. Next man up mentality.”

Last season, the Clippers couldn’t keep a 3-1 lead over the Denver Nuggets and their inconsistency cost them the chance to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. Kawhi doesn’t want to live the same situation again and they need to figure that out before it’s too late.
Recently, Bill Simmons criticized them because there isn’t something or someone that offers the quality and consistency they need besides Leonard. The trade deadline is approaching and people believe the Clips would try to make some changes on the roster to face the remainder of the regular season and the playoffs.
