LaMelo Ball is the overwhelming favorite for the Rookie of the Year award. LaMelo Ball passes with a flashiness that is reminiscent of great passers like Magic Johnson and Steve Nash. While he has a long-time to go until he is at that level, LaMelo Ball is showing some promise with his performances. His most recent performance was a double-double against the Sacramento Kings with 24 points and 12 assists. He was a big factor in a close game and showed signs of great he could be.

LaMelo Ball has gotten a lot of love from around the league. The most recent person to shout him out was Draymond Green. Draymond Green simply stated that LaMelo Ball is a problem after his elite performance.

Lamelo is a problem!

— Draymond Green (@Money23Green) March 1, 2021

LaMelo Ball has a lot of ways he can impact the game: aside from his passing, he is an elite shooter. His size also allows him to bother guards on the defensive end. LaMelo Ball can provide value even without scoring, though he can obviously score as well. He is an extremely unique player who provides a problem for defenses due to the variety of ways he can generate offense.

LaMelo Ball is showing the type of player that he can be during his rookie season. It is no surprise to see that former and current players are seeing what his fans have been talking about for years. LaMelo Ball has loads of potential, and hopefully, we will see him become the best player he can be.
