Steph Curry Wants To Be The Tom Brady Of The NBA: “If I Could Get To Like Pushing 40 And Still Be Impactful On The Court, I Feel Like That’s A Win.”

There comes a time in every athlete’s life when Father Time finally takes its toll. No matter how good you are, or what sport you play, there will be a day when age becomes too big of an obstacle.

For Steph Curry, however, he’s hoping to surpass expectations by playing high-level NBA basketball into his 40s. For inspiration, he looks no further than Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.

“If I could get to like pushing 40 and still be impactful on the court, I feel like that’s a win in basketball. Straight up and down you can’t hide anywhere when you’re out there. Maybe a little bit of a different conversation, but to Tom’s point, just getting your body where you go out on your own terms is the goal.”

Brady has just come off his seventh Super Bowl victory, at 43-years-old. Somehow, he has found a way to stay elite despite being past the age most players retire.

For Steph to get anywhere close to that, he’s going to have to exercise caution, take care of himself, and be smart with what he does both on and off the court.

In the meantime, he’s going to continue to do his thing and do what he can to help his team win more Championships.
