The Los Angeles Clippers are having a terrific start to the season, being one of the leaders in the Western Conference with a 12-4 record. Led by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, this team is ready to make a statement this year and they’re trying to learn as much as they can from their coach.

More specifically, they want to know a lot about late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his mentality. Kobe faced and even trained with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in recent years, but they want to go deeper and learn from their head coach what was inside Kobe’s mind. Lue recently talked about this, revealing that his dynamic duo is always asking questions about his former teammate.

“They always want to know how Kobe was, what he did, how he worked, how would Kobe react to this,” Lue said, via ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk. “It’s tough sometimes talking about it but it’s good that those guys respect him and look up to what Kobe has done as a player, a person and a businessman.”

The Clippers are showing a different face this season and that makes their fans dream about the present and future of the team. Leonard and George are having a great moment right now and as long as they keep playing the way they’re playing right now, the Clips will have a chance to compete in the West.

They can learn from Kobe’s thoughts and his mentality thanks to Lue, which can take them to the next level. This team is ready to make noise this campaign and they’re willing to do anything to find success in a very competitive conference.
