Kendrick Perkins Gives Huge Praise To The Clippers: “Paul George Is Playing At An MVP Level And The Clippers Are Finally Playing Inspiring Basketball.”

In the aftermath of a five-game win streak, the Los Angeles Clippers are looking pretty solid to start the 2021 season. With Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and an 11-4 record in the West, the team is in a position to make amends for their failure last season.

They’re playing so well, in fact, that ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins — a notorious LeBron James defender — is giving them praise as he puts Paul George in the MVP conversation.

“Clippers on a 5 game winning streak is EVERYTHING…Paul George is playing at a MVP level and the Clippers are finally playing inspiring basketball. Just saying tho!”

After a disappointing and border-line embarrassing offseason, the Clippers came into this season with a huge chip on their shoulder and a whole lot left to prove.

Paul George, who suffered mightily, became one of the NBA’s biggest laughing stocks over the past few months.

But with season averages of 24.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game on 51.4% shooting, PG is starting to re-gain respect from those around the league.

At this point, even Perkins is convinced.

But we’ll have to see what happens come playoff time.
