The Brooklyn Nets are reportedly trying to unlock negotiations with the Houston Rockets for James Harden. It’s been reported that the Rockets will only trade Harden for one of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, something that’s not appealing for the Nets.
Moreover, new reports have suggested that the Nets could have a problem if they finally land Harden this offseason. According to Fox Sports’ analyst Chris Broussard, not everybody in Brooklyn is happy with the possibility of Harden arriving at the Big Apple.
While Kevin Durant is ready to welcome his former teammate, Kyrie doesn’t see with good eyes the arrival of Harden to the Nets.
“People around the league are saying Durant wants Harden and Kyrie does not,” Broussard said on Tuesday’s edition of FS1’s ‘The Herd.’

If this is true, then Harden would have more than one problem in the Nets. His style of play would be hard to mesh with Kyrie and Durant’s. If the point guard feels that way about him, that’s going to be difficult to deal with for the Beard.
These are just rumors but they never come from nowhere. Ray Allen recently explained the Nets could have a big problem if they land Harden this offseason. On-court issues are one thing, off-court issues are others and the first ones can create many problems for the Nets in the upcoming season.
Nothing is certain right now as the Nets keep pushing for a move for Harden.
