LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers back to the top of the NBA this season, winning the NBA championship against the Miami Heat last month. James teamed up with Anthony Davis to take the team to the promised land and they did so in a great way. When everybody believed he was washed, James told otherwise, proving everybody that he’s still a bad man and somebody with a lot to offer.

James demonstrated he still got it and took his team to claim a huge victory after an overwhelming season. James landed in Los Angeles to exactly what he did, according to Magic Johnson. The former point guard was the one who signed LeBron for the purple and gold in 2018. He recently revealed that Bron had a goal in his mind when he landed in California. For the King, a title was the most important thing.

Talking on the ‘KJZ Show’ on ESPN, Johnson said that Bron was eager to win a title with the Lakers as soon as he arrived (2:27 minute).

“LeBron James had said that he was coming to Los Angeles. He told me when I sat down with him that his whole purpose was to win a championship and put the Lakers back where they belong, and he did exactly that.

“I think the world got a chance to see also that not only is LeBron James the basketball player in the world, but we also got a chance to see Anthony Davis perform on the biggest stage. And he dominated as well.”

Flash forward we know that Bron kept his word and brought a title to LA. He and Anthony Davis became the best duo in the league this season and next season they will be the team to beat for the rest of the association. James has been successful whenever he’s gone and he already left his mark on Lakers’ history.
