Houston Rockets superstar James Harden ended his social media hiatus on Tuesday, sending a strong message to American society in one of their most important days in recent years. Harden had decided to delete his account at the start of the year to focus on basketball and we hadn’t seen from him in a long time.

Well, he returned this Tuesday and urged people to vote in the 2020 US elections. Harden hasn’t been the most outspoken player when it comes to politics but he took some time of his day to ask people to cast their vote and decide the future of the country.

“Be apart of the change! Go Vote!” he captioned his selfie with.

The player is entering an offseason that could change things for him. Recent reports suggest the Philadelphia 76ers are eyeing a trade for the Beard to create a superteam. They have options to do it, more so knowing that Daryl Morey is now part of the Sixers franchise and he’s seeing with good eyes landing Harden in his new team.

The 31-year-old comes from a season where the Rockets appeared to be more dangerous than they were. They ended up losing against the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the 2020 playoffs, with the whole team showing a very bad image on the court. Now things might be different for him, but we need to wait and see how this whole thing is going to develop.
