LeBron James: “Some People Are Built For This Moment And Some People Aren’t. When You’ve Been Building Your Mind, Body & Soul For The Postseason, No Matter The Circumstances And Environment, You’re Able To Rise.”

LeBron James put on a show last night vs. the Houston Rockets. The King led the Lakers with an impressive effort on both ends of the floor, racking up 36 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 three-pointers, 1 steal, and 4 blocks.

James became the all-time leader in playoff wins (with the highest winning percentage for a player with a minimum of 200 games) and it’s pretty clear that he’s one of the most dominant performers in the postseason this league has ever seen.

So, when asked about his hustle and great effort, James simply said that some players are built for those kinds of moments:

“Some people are built for this moment and some people aren’t. When you’ve been building your mind, body & soul for the postseason, no matter the circumstances and environment, you’re able to rise,” The King said.

It may seem obvious but that’s just the truth. Contrary to what his critics may want to make you believe, LeBron James is not only an outstanding playoff performer but also one of the most clutch players to ever live.

LeBron has been on a mission since the start of the season and it’s starting to show now more than ever. He’s putting NBA Finals-kind of effort vs. the Houston Rockets as he knows that leading a third franchise to an NBA Championship would further cement his legacy as one of the greatest players of all time.

The Los Angeles Lakers are now 2-1 in the series but keeping up with the Rockets’ high-octane offense is definitely an uphill battle for them. Then again, their 35-year-old offensive juggernaut has shown no signs of slowing down despite being on his 17th season already.

As he said, it’s all about preparing the mind, body, and soul for this instance. Now, it’s time to finish the job and reclaim the throne.
