Luka Doncic and Marcus Morris were involved in controversy for the second consecutive game. Morris was ejected of Game 6 after being issued a flagrant-2 for a hard foul on the Slovenian player, who was ready to scuffle until Boban Marjanovic stopped him. This comes after Morris allegedly stepped on Luka’s injury foot in Game 5, which fans saw with bad eyes.

Morris defended himself after that game, claiming he had the utmost respect for all his rivals and thinking he was a dirty player was not right.
“I play this game with a level of respect for myself and other players. To think I would try to injure somebody is crazy to me. 10 years going against the best. I stand on morals and hard work. I compete and leave it out there every game.”
Well, he made sure to shut down that tweet on Sunday and Doncic realized it. The 21-year-old addressed the situation after the game, stating he doesn’t want to deal with a player like Morris.
“Terrible foul,” Doncic told reporters after his team’s 111-97 loss. “Two games in a row he did something like that. I really hoped the first one wasn’t on purpose but looking back at the foul this game, you know what I think. I don’t want to deal with that kind of player.”

The Clippers forward had something to say after the game, too, taking to Instagram to let Doncic know what he feels about this whole situation.
Yet, fans were quick to call Morris out for his behavior.

Thanks for confirming you tried to injure him on purpose
