James Harden is one of the most skilled scorers in NBA history. The Brooklyn Nets superstar has used the rules to benefit his game, which doesn’t seem to change shortly.
With the league implementing new rules to limit non-basketball moves used to draw fouls, Harden and more players like Trae Young, Luka Doncic, Stephen Curry, and more will have to adjust their games.
The Beard is a master of this art. He’s drawn over 500 3-point shooting foul calls during his career, taking a significant lead over his pursuers. With his 521 3-point shooting foul calls, Harden is the all-time leader of this category.
He’s ‘followed’ by Jamal Crawford and Lou Williams, who are tied in second place with 249. That’s 272 draws less than Harden. Damian Lillard (201), Luka Doncic (194), Stephen Curry (190) and Kevin Durant (151) are other players featured on this list.

Still, the former Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets player has perfected his technique during the past couple of years, recording all these calls like nobody else in NBA history.
To put things in perspective, he has drawn more 3-PT shooting fouls than any team in the league since he was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2009. The Los Angeles Lakers are the closest team to Harden, with 439 fouls drawn.
This is incredible, even for James Harden. This man knows what he does on the court, although things will change for him this upcoming season.
With the new rules, the guard will have a hard time getting as many calls as he used to, but he knows how to adapt his game to get the most advantage of the rules.
