Hassan Whiteside is ready to take on Patrick Beverley as one of the first matchups in the NBA players-only 2K tournament which will start this Friday. Every player in the tournament will play with their own avatar in the 2K20 video game, which led people to notice something about the participants, especially Whiteside.

The Portland Trail Blazers star has an 87 overall rating in the game, having a clear advantage over Beverley’s 78 rating. Moreover, that’s not the only curious thing here. Redditor ‘THE_KLAW2’ named all the players who have a lower rating than Whiteside.

Bam Adebayo, Brandon Ingram, DeMar DeRozan, Devin Booker, John Collins, Kristaps Porzingis, Zion Williamson, CJ McCollum, De’Aaron Fox, DeAndre Ayton, Domantas Sabonis, Jaylen Brown, Kyle Lowry, Nikola Vucevic, Zach LaVine, D’Angelo Russell, Danilo Gallinari, Ja Morant, Jamal Murray, LaMarcus Aldridge, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jrue Holiday, Malcolm Brogdon, Fred VanVleet and Victor Oladipo.

To put things into perspective, Hassan has the same rating as players like Chris Paul, Donovan Mitchell, Kemba Walker, Khris Middleton and Rudy Gobert.

He has a better rating than some All-Star players like Bam Adebayo, Devin Booker, and Domantas Sabonis. The developers of the game have been highly criticized for these decisions. The reality of some players isn’t translated properly to the video game and this is yet another example of that.
