Things are falling into place for the NBA and their brand new NBA 2K tournament. The contest is set to start on Friday, with ESPN broadcasting all matches, with some of the biggest names in the league ready to compete.
A couple of hours after the tournament was revealed, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports broke down some details of the contest, including its participants. Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant, Utah Jazz’s Donovan Mitchell, Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young and Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker will be some of the names taking the challenge to win this competition.

There are some details the league is finishing, as per Haynes, but everything seems ready to start the tournament, which will last 10 days, this Friday. The league is a hiatus after the coronavirus outbreak and the front office has been looking for ways to entertain fans while this entire thing disappears.
