Despite being divisional rivals, it looks like the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers could really benefit from engaging in trade talks with each other.

  • Trade Package 2: Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Moritz Wagner For Devin Booker

Suns’ General Manager James Jones and LeBron James should make the most of their friendship to try and put together a couple of deals that may work in the best interests of both teams.

The Lakers need scoring, the Suns need young players, and Devin Booker needs to get the hell out of the desert.

This young man is just amazing, and he has already outgrown the team and needs to be unleashed somewhere else where he can finally make the playoffs and achieve the superstar label that’s due for him.

That being said, let’s discuss to potential trades the Lakers could put on the table to pair Devin Booker with LeBron James.

Trade Package 1: Brandon Ingram For Devin Booker

Yes, they could try and make a straight swap for their young prospects. Moreover, the Lakers could even sweeten the deal by adding a couple of 2nd round picks to make it more appealing for the Suns.

Ingram is a much better defender than Booker and still has a lot of potentials, but it doesn’t look like a natural fit next to James. He could be brought back slowly from his injury at the desert, and they could land a potential franchise player.

Booker, on the other hand, would be a perfect plug guy for the Lakers offense and contribute right away, as he’s already one of the most prolific and dominant scorers in the league despite his age.

Trade Package 2: Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Moritz Wagner For Devin Booker

If the Suns have no interest in Brandon Ingram, the Lakers could go all-in to try and land the shooting guard, sending away three great young prospects and a future slightly protected 1st round pick.

Lonzo Ball already entertained the possibility of playing for Phoenix and they’ve been needing a starting point guard and a backcourt stopper for years, so he’d be exactly what they’re looking for right now.

Kyle Kuzma has great potential, but LeBron James needs a shooter and Booker is a perfect player for the Los Angeles Lakers.
