The Future Best Destinations For Kyrie Irving If He Decides To Leave The Celtics

Kyrie Irving has turned on the alarms at the Boston Celtics facilities, as he’s reportedly no longer committed to extending his stay at the TD Garden, with the team even considering moving him before he hits free agency.

  • 1. Los Angeles Lakers

Kyrie is one of the best point guards in the world and pretty much every team with enough cap space will try to make a run at him in the summer, and there’s truly no telling on what’s going on his head.

There’s always a lot of drama when it comes to Kyrie. He wants to be the man, he wants to get paid, he wants to win, he wants to play with LeBron, he hates LeBron. There’s always a thing with him. So, keeping that in mind, where could he sign if he leaves Boston? Let’s take a look at the top 4 destinations for him.

4. Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have pretty much all top-tier free agents on their agenda right now, so obviously, that includes Kyrie. They have the money, a great coach and a more than capable supporting cast.

If Kyrie wants to write his name in basketball history, he needs to do this move. He can become a basketball legend if he brings a title to the Clippers, and he’d also have that Los Angeles lifestyle that suits him so much.

3. Brooklyn Nets

Kyrie Irving has been closely tied with a move to the Brooklyn Nets in the summer since the start of the season, as they have enough cap space to pursue him and also add another top-tier player next to him.

Irving was rumored to join Jimmy Butler to try and rule the Eastern Conference, and judging by the way they’re playing right now even without any superstars, they’d be Championship contenders amid his arrival.

2. New York Knicks

Well, the New York Knicks made a super bold move by trading away Kristaps Porzingis, but now they have over 74 million dollars in cap space, so they’re in a prime position to sign two All-Stars on max contracts.

Kyrie has also been tied with a move to the Knicks for some time now and if he wants to become a legend, there’s no better stage in the world to do so than the mythical Madison Square Garden.

And last but not least, let’s not forget about the fact that Kyrie reportedly called LeBron James to apologize for his attitude and, according to some rumors, he’s interested in a reunion with the King, even if that means joining the Lakers.

The Lakers are going to be quite aggressive in the summer as they look to put an end to their Championship drought, and with Lonzo Ball likely heading out the door, Kyrie would be one of their top targets to run the point.
