A lot can change from High School to the Pros of any sport, and the 2010 High School National rankings for basketball are no different.
The rankings are from a solid eight years ago now, so it’s pretty safe to say we’re allowed to judge some of the careers of the players ranked so highly almost a decade ago.
(Spoiler: Almost half the list isn’t even in the NBA anymore, if that’s any indication of what’s to follow.)
10. Tristan Thompson

Still with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the foreseeable future.
9. Terrence Jones

Has been with the Rockets, Pelicans and Buck throughout his five years in the league.
8. Will Barton

After receiving minimal playing time at the Blazers, Barton was signed by the Nuggets, where he’s flourished.
7. Perry Jones

Only lasted three seasons in the league, playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
6. Tobias Harris

Starting off in Orlando, Harris is banking on himself this following season to earn a massive contract with the Clippers.
5. Josh Selby

Played two seasons for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2012 and 2013.
4. Brandon Knight

All you need to do is look at the above picture to see how Brandon’s career has gone.
3. Kyrie Irving

Easily the best player from these high school rankings, Uncle Drew was ranked third overall at the time.
2. Jared Sullinger

Currently dominating in China.
1. Harrison Barnes

A one-time champ with the Golden State Warriors, Harrison Barnes has earned himself a nice pay day with the Dallas Mavericks.
