Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball, like many professional athletes, features large and intricate tattoos on his body. To go with his eccentric personality, Ball recently decided to get a new Cheetos-themed tattoo across the top of his feet. With the fiery design gaining more attention on social media, fans couldn’t believe their eyes.
Ball has a reputation for sporting interesting tattoos on his body. His last piece, covering the entirety of his back with immense detail, features the text: “Rare One.”
Considering that the piece took six tattoo artists and 18 hours to complete, it is evident that the Hornets guard is committed to his body modification journey. Unfortunately, the latest addition to his list of body art may be his most outrageous one.

While many fans were debating whether it was genuine or not, others couldn’t contain their laughter. As several share hilarious reactions to the flaming-hot details, we take a look at a few of their responses.
“Hornets gotta cut their losses while they can smh,” said one fan, seemingly losing faith in the organization.
“Somehow his best-looking tattoo,” added another, making a keen observation.
“This can’t be real…” said another, in clear disbelief.
“Bro does everything but win a championship for his team,” pointed out another.
One fan stood out in support of Ball’s decision, claiming, “Nah, he’s the GOAT if this is true.”
“When you have stupid money, you can do stupid things,” shared one fan.
“Get those dawgs outta here,” added another.
A fan also tried to decipher the meaning of the tattoo, saying, “It means he’s standing on the business.”
Meanwhile, another predicted that Ball would regret this decision in the future, stating, “Bro gonna be 80 looking down at his feet like tf did I do.”
“Bro didn’t break ankles, he toasted them,” added one fan, potentially creating a new trend in the sport.
Hopefully, the star’s antics will translate into renewed focus and performance next season. Given the form he was in before his season-ending injury, Charlotte will need him in peak condition.
Ball was firing on all cylinders in the 2024-25 regular season. With an average of 25.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 7.4 assists per game, the 23-year-old was the driving force for Charlotte.
The Hornets ended last season as one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference. They lacked cohesion and direction without Ball in the lineup.
The upcoming season doesn’t present a very positive outlook for the team, considering that, especially amid criticism that the team has failed to attract any significant talent in the offseason.
With reports that players are hesitant to join forces with Ball, the Hornets are in a tough position. But with a talented core featuring players like Miles Bridges and Brandon Miller, along with a new crop of gifted rookies like Kon Knueppel, Charlotte could be optimistic about being objectively better than last season.
