During a heated moment in the third quarter of the game between LSU and Tennessee, Angel Reese, despite facing offensive struggles, asserted her dominance on the court with a fiery exchange directed at a Tennessee player. As Reese stood at the free-throw line with LSU leading 44-36, cameras captured her addressing her opponent, saying:

“Who tf you talking to… can’t be talking to me… f**k wrong with her.”

This candid moment showcased Reese’s fierce competitiveness and willingness to stand her ground against any opponent.

Despite facing challenges on the offensive end, shooting just 4-for-18 from the field and finishing with only 11 points, Reese’s defensive tenacity and leadership were evident throughout the game, in which LSU won 75-60.

Coach Kim Mulkey came to Reese’s defense, acknowledging the tough matchup posed by Tennessee’s formidable frontcourt players, Tamari Key and Rickea Jackson. Their physicality and size presented obstacles for Reese and the LSU team, contributing to her shooting struggles.

However, Reese’s offensive struggles did not overshadow her significant milestone achievement during the game. By surpassing 2,000 career points, Angel Reese solidified her place as one of LSU’s all-time scoring leaders, showcasing her impressive skill and contributions to the team over her collegiate career.

As LSU continues its campaign in the SEC, Reese’s leadership and competitive spirit will undoubtedly play a crucial role in the team’s pursuit of success. Her fearless demeanor and willingness to confront opponents head-on make her a formidable force on the court, inspiring her teammates and leaving a lasting impact on the game.

How Much Has Angel Reese Made Through NIL?

Angel Reese has solidified herself as one of the most prominent figures in women’s college basketball, not only for her prowess on the court but also for her lucrative Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals. With her recent partnership with Reebok, Reese’s NIL earnings have soared to an impressive $1.7 million, placing her among the top ten highest-earning college athletes overall.

Breaking it down further, Reese’s NIL earnings surpass those of any other women’s college basketball player, making her a trailblazer in this aspect of athlete endorsement deals. Her diverse portfolio of partnerships includes major brands such as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s ZOA Energy, Airbnb, and now Reebok.

Despite her offensive struggles at times, Reese’s star power and impact on the game have attracted numerous endorsement opportunities, showcasing her marketability and influence both on and off the court. As she prepares for her senior season at LSU, Reese’s earning potential is likely to continue growing, with more brands seeking to align themselves with her success and popularity.

Reese’s decision to stay in college for her senior year, despite her ability to potentially enter the WNBA draft, reflects not only her commitment to her team and pursuit of another championship but also her financial success through NIL deals.

With her continued dominance in women’s college basketball, Reese’s net worth, estimated at around $3 million, is expected to rise, fueled by her impressive earnings from both on-court achievements and off-court endorsements.

As the NIL landscape continues to evolve, Reese stands as a prime example of how college athletes can leverage their fame and influence to secure lucrative deals and build their personal brands, setting new standards for athletes’ earning potential at the collegiate level.
