Josh Hart has been gaining a reputation in online communities as a man with interesting taste. He’s wearing the brand-new Apple Vision Pro headset in every episode of his new podcast with teammate Jalen Brunson, with the Brunson hilariously making Hart reveal what his last Google search was about. Hart then went on to explain why he was googling adult actress Lisa Ann in his new VR headset.

Jalen Brunson: “The last thing you googled, and before you answer this, I had that thing on and saw what was last.”

Josh Hart: “The last thing I actually googled, I didn’t know who Lisa Ann was. She got arrested, right? It was like, ‘Oh, who’s Lisa Ann?’ and I saw she was following me on Twitter. I’m like, we should have her on the pod. But I don’t think our wives will be too happy with that.”

There is no other way to justify searching a name like that into a VR headset. Just hearing that will make everyone draw the predictable conclusion that Hart was searching for her in his new headset for more nefarious reasons.

Ann was recently arrested at comedian Matt Rife’s Radio City Music Hall performance for creating a nuisance at the show by recording the comedy set on her cell phone, refusing to put her electronics away upon request, and being loud and disruptive in the crowd. She has denied all of these claims.

Brunson looked amused throughout this interaction, as fans have another wildly entertaining player podcast to look forward to.

Brunson and Hart are currently teammates on the Knicks and won a national championship together in 2018 with the Villanova Wildcats. Another member of the Villanova squad, Donte DiVincenzo, is on the Knicks.

The Knicks Have Built A Contender Around Jalen Brunson

When the Knicks went out of their way to open up salary space in the summer of 2022 to poach Jalen Brunson from the Dallas Mavericks, many thought it wouldn’t be an impactful move. However, Brunson has changed the face of New York basketball and is their undoubted No. 1 option this season. He’s averaging 27.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists as the Knicks look to challenge atop the NBA.

Hart has been a phenomenal addition since last winter, averaging 7.8 points and 7.0 rebounds this season. He’s a high-effort hustler and rebounder, fitting perfectly into Tim Thibodeau’s style of play.

Given the success the Knicks have been enjoying since the acquisition of OG Anunoby before the new year, they’ve decided to add more pieces to boost their contending chances at the deadline. They were arguably the biggest winner of the deadline, acquiring both Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks from the Pistons without giving up a first-round pick. Even the Anunoby trade was without a first-round pick.

The Knicks still have one of the best war chests of assets among contenders in the East and have a complete roster led by Brunson already. They’ll miss Julius Randle for the foreseeable future, but in the meantime, they’ve loaded up to compete for a title in the East.

The Knicks have patiently built a powerhouse over the last five years and are finally in position to elevate them into contenders status after years of good development of players and intelligent trades to build what many think right now is the second-best team in the East.
