Emily Ratajkowski has shown up for New York Knicks games at Madison Square Garden a fair few times, but we might not be seeing her there for a while. As per Page Six, Ratajkowski’s request for complimentary tickets for a New York Rangers game was denied, after she left early during the Knicks’ win over the Miami Heat last month.

“Emily was not offered comped tickets for the Rangers,” after leaving the Knicks game early. But, “she was offered, and is welcome, to buy great seats any time,” an MSG spokesperson told Page Six.

I doubt the 32-year-old would have much of an interest in buying those expensive tickets as she would see this denial as somewhat disrespectful. Ratajkowski and Irina Shayk had stolen the show at that Knicks-Heat game on November 24, but the two appear to have left that thrilling contest with a few minutes to go.

As per the report, Ratajkowski was unaware that her and Shayk’s early departure was an issue, as they had supposedly left due to a childcare issue at home. Whatever the case, it doesn’t look like she is going to get complimentary tickets for the foreseeable future at least. NBA fans did not have much sympathy for her, as you might imagine.

One says the rich should not be getting those seats for free.

A fan joked that Ratajkowski is a bandwagoner.

One says the tickets should be given to someone who actually cares about the game.

One says only true fans should get tickets for free.

A fan was shocked that Ratajkowski was getting free tickets.

Well, the stars usually do get free tickets for Celebrity Row at MSG. You obviously understand why, as they help put a bigger spotlight on the action that is unfolding on the court.

At the same time, though, when they leave early, it is a bit of a bad look for the product. It is probably why this decision was taken and it might be a bit of a warning to other celebrities as well. If you are given free tickets for seats which would normally cost a fortune, then you better be present for the whole game.

The Knicks-Heat Game Was A Classic

Ratajkowski and Shayk missed out on what was an epic climax to one of the better games of the season. It actually didn’t seem like we were going to witness a memorable clash, as Miami was up 21 points at one stage in the third quarter.

The Knicks then roared back in the fourth to take the lead but the Heat still had a chance to win. They had the ball down 100-98 in the dying moments, but Jimmy Butler missed the potential game-winner to seal a remarkable comeback win.

It was also an In-Season Tournament game and winning it meant the Knicks stayed alive in the competition. They would eventually get to the quarterfinals, where they lost to the Milwaukee Bucks.
