There is no doubt that it is hilarious to see an NBA star not take themselves too seriously and make the fans laugh. Ingram is clearly enjoying the moment. It is unclear as of right now why he donned a hot dog costume, but perhaps we will get an explanation in the future.

This past season, Brandon Ingram averaged 24.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game for the New Orleans Pelicans. Ingram is coming off one of his best seasons in the league thus far and is just entering his prime. It will be interesting to see how he does this season, and if he and Zion Williamson can stay healthy, the team is in line for a big season.

Brandon Ingram Had A Poor Team USA Campaign This Summer

There is no doubt that Brandon Ingram was one of the major disappointments for Team USA during the 2023 FIBA World Cup. He often looked lost in the starting lineup, and even got benched in favor of Josh Hart. However, it is fair to say that Ingram was not put in his optimal role, and Ingram himself thinks he was used wrong on Team USA.

“We all watched those games [FIBA]. I’m sure the team was disappointed… Brandon felt like he could have been used better… I’m expecting BI to have a chip on his shoulder.”

Even though Ingram can play off the ball next to other ballhandlers, he is at his best when given the ball and used as a point forward. There is no doubt that he’ll have the ball in his hands a lot more with the New Orleans Pelicans, and his numbers will likely be better than they were with Team USA as well.

It will be interesting to see whether Brandon Ingram gets selected to Team USA again in the future. Though his current performance suggests that he won’t, his talent might mean that he gets another chance at some point in the future.

Brandon Ingram Will Be Key For The New Orleans Pelicans Next Season

There is no doubt that Brandon Ingram will be key for the New Orleans Pelicans next season. Though Zion Williamson is clearly the player who will determine whether they win a championship or not, every superstar needs an elite co-star. Ingram is clearly one of the better wing players in the league, and his skill set is a perfect fit with Williamson’s.

The one thing that Ingram will have to improve on is his availability. He only played 45 games last season, and that number has to be higher this year. If Ingram makes an All-NBA team this season, he will be eligible for a supermax contract. To do that, he will have to play 65 games, and perhaps we’ll see Ingram’s availability improve this season.

This is clearly a pivotal season for Ingram. Hopefully, we see him have an elite season, and help Williamson lead the Pelicans deep into the playoffs. The team has the talent to succeed and we’ll see what happens in the future.
