- NBA analyst Rich Eisen believes James Harden is content with the $100K fine imposed on him by the league
- Harden was fined after calling Philadelphia 76ers general manager Daryl Morey a liar
- The Beard demanded a trade from the 76ers earlier this summer
The trade saga between James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers is yet to reach a befitting conclusion. Harden requested a trade from the 76ers after opting into his $35.6 million player option.
The Beard named the Los Angeles Clippers as his next preferred destination. But the latest twist to the trade saga came when James Harden openly called Daryl Morey a liar in China. The 34-year-old was fined $100K for his comments about Morey. According to veteran analyst Rich Eisen, James Harden must be content with the enormous fine.
“You know what James Harden is thinking wherever he is? China, Houston, wherever he is?… Best $100,000 I’ve ever spent,” he said on The Rich Eisen Show. “I’m sure he’s not happy, but I’m sure he’s had that much in a Honey Buns and in a bag in Vegas at one point.
“I’m sure he’s thinking, best $100,000 I’ve ever spent because I got it out there. I got it off my chest.”

Although the NBPA opposed the NBA’s decision to fine $100K James Harden, Rich Eisen believes that the former MVP is happy with his decision. After all, Harden has developed a somewhat notorious reputation for demanding trades over the last few seasons.
James Harden Is Reportedly Talking To Paul George And Kawhi Leonard
James Harden has made it abundantly clear that he only wants to be traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in hopes of forming a Big 3 with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. The 76ers apparently agreed to Harden’s demand earlier.
But since the organization reportedly backed out from their end of the bargain, it led to Harden’s “liar comments” about Morey.
Now, a new report suggests that Harden is already engaging in conversation with Leonard and George. The trio is apparently on the same page and wants to form a new superteam ahead of the 2023-24 season.
Harden finished the 2022-23 season with 21.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game. He also shot 44.1% from the field and 38.5% from downtown.
